Fill up a thermos for the next trip Jewels. Just tell them it's Aunt Jewels' medicine to prevent car sickness.

If I'm inattentive it's because I'm playing Candyland with my 4 year old and my hubby.

Wish I could stay but I'm heading out in a moment. Hope everyone had a decent weekend.

We tried to rent a portable DVD player but couldn't find one. Oh, and I think we stopped about 8 times to go to the bathroom. One would have to go, and the other refused to go at the same time. Of course, we'd have to stop 20 minutes later for the other one to go.

Actually, they're really good kids. I guess I'm just not used to the 24/7 needs of preteens.

Me too -- played the flute, and am jealous.

We used to take a LOT of long car trips when I was a kid, including a six-week one camping out west. I'd love to go again, since I was 12 and witchy then. Jewels, I forgot your girls were younger. And I have never been IN a car with a TV.
