This used to be the fun place to be. Wish we could get it going like that again. I lurked on this thread for a couple of years before having the nerve to "come out". First time I ever posted anywhere, was right here. Let's try and lure more people in, okay?

Hi Muduh. I remember the very first night you posted.

Yeah, me too. I may not remember what happened yesterday, but a couple of years ago, clear as a bell.

I think having kids does that to your memory. I'm already like that and I'm only thirty.

I think I will probably DIE with kids still in the house. Not actually living here, but in and out constantly.

I always remember the really important things like picking up a kid, or anything like that. I have gotten to where I write the check to pay a bill as soon as it comes, though. A couple of times I've stuck them in my desk and almost been late with one. Now I just get the mail, write the check and put it right back in the mailbox.

You're right about that. One of the good things (and maybe the only one I can think of ) about being older is that at last, there is enough money. Believe me, I can vividly remember when I had to juggle the bills and see who had to be paid and who could wait a week. One reason that I don't care much for makeup and clothes is that I could never afford them when I was young. I just never developed a love for those things and don't miss them.
