The only time I remember was when I was a little kid. I was reading a book while my Mom was shopping. I walked out reading it. When I realized it, we were already half way home and my Mom said she'd pay them for it the next trip. On the next trip, she made me go pay for it and apologize for walking out with it.

Have you ever made a kid pay for something they took--even if it was an accident?

Only when I worked at Target. I always felt bad about it but it was my job.

No, I'm not pleasant or patient enough for retail.
