I did have a "Homer Simpson" moment. Since I'm so thin, I asked my PCP to suggest something to help stimulate my appetite. He have me one of the old-timey antidepressants from the stone ages. I took it for about a month - and I didn't like, but he kept telling me to give it a chance. So a couple of months later I started falling down. I don't mean, trip, stumble, recover. It was a ka-blam! So I'm leaving my apartment one day, and there were 3 or 4 concrete steps on the outside. I blacked out and landed (first) on my left temple, did the entire body flip, and landed face up in the bushes next to the steps. I think I was passed out for a minute or two - but before anyone came along, I woke up and got back into the house. My hair was very long and my head was bleeding and blood was dripping down to the botom of my hair. Of course hea injuries bleed more.

After the shock wore off - it occurred to me that anyone who saw that had to have pictured Homer Simpson tumbling head over heels tumbling head over heels down the Grand Canyon. It hurt, I immediately stopped that "miriacle" drug and recovered. Now that was a long fall!!!

    What a fiasco.

Have you ever experienced something like this or seen someone actually fall in this matter (animation doesn't count :nono )

You wouldn't be the only one - I laugh about it every time I thibk about it. (It was pretty traumatic - and not funny at the time, however.)

Yes, I have knitted a scarf. Probably the only thing I've ever knitted.

Have you ever had some really nasty food at a family reunion?

Yes, but now I hear it's safe. However, I don't trust "they" and still don't want to eat it.

Have you ever slid down a fireman's pole?
