I think Maveno is on the run from the law. She's been dropping out of everything lately. Not to mention that she does NOT seem like the sort of gal that would let some dude slap her around. Maybe a tamale like Zaaam, but sure as heck no dude named "Butch".

I think she's just short on cash. She needs to payback for the "special ingredient" for her brownies. I think if we all pitch in she'll be able to pay back the money she owes and at least be able to make graduation. I'll start...here's $3. I would put in more but I didn't eat as much as some of you others ::coug::Mr. Burnt ::cough::

Well, someone has to go first, so here goes...

Enters the stage at senior prom, wearing a slim fitting strapless black dress and waves at her date, Rex, whom she barely knows but only brought because he’s hot, rich, would pay for their fancy hotel room after the dance, and would make for excellent bragging rights to her friends. *Adjusts microphone, shuffles note cards, and pulls up her dress*

“Ahem……. Good evening to the graduating class and faculty of FORT High School. We, the class of 2005, would like to thank everyone who was involved in coordinating such a kick-ass prom and to whoever spiked the punch for the final time at our last dance of our high school career.

Well, we finally did it! All the stress of school will soon be behind us, and we can relax knowing that we not necessarily received a valued education, but an experience to last a lifetime. As I reflect on this experience, I remember pranks, terrible cafeteria food, nutty band performances, encounters with brownies as well as bullies, and sleepless nights wondering what I will wear to school the next day. All of these experiences and more will define our high school experience for the rest of our lives. Throughout all the chaos, we must remember that if there was one thing we could count on at FORT High – it was Mr. Burntcrow. He always encouraging and patient, even to the drop-outs, the pregnant girls, and the skinheads. And he even partook in enjoying stuffed mushrooms with some of the class. For that we thank you, Mr. Burnt.

Now the time has come where we must all pursue our own personal dreams, which I am sure will lead us in different directions of our lives. For some, it’s to work at the fast food drive through, and for others it’s to be brown nosers to future employers. Some of us have aspired to moving on to some party college, and some of us will want to pursue reality TV stardom. Wherever our paths may take us, we can all look back on these memories of the past four years and be thankful that it’s over. But let’s not ever forget our fellow FORT 2005 Toads! I love you all!”

*Walks off stage and whispers to Funnygirl……..* I’ll pitch in towards Maveno’s relief fund after tonight. I’m sure I’ll get some money from Rex after I, er, perform some “special favors”.

And our second speaker tonight will be Cahalanmac. Cahalanmac is wearing a lovely gown in our school colors of green and black designed especially for her by De La Renta with diamonds provided by Harry Winston. She is accompanied by a menacing burly bodyguard.

"Good evening Seniors, Faculty, and dropouts! Welcome to our Prom, it truly has been A Year to Forget. A few quick announcements before we get started. Please remember to vote for your prom king and queen (caughcahalanmaccaugh). Also, if you are having punch, do not have the brownies as you may experience adverse effects.

I cannot believe we have made it this far! I know that all of our hard work and dedication to our education will soon pay off. We are the future, and though that may sound frightening, we are ready! We will become the coke fiends, the smart hotties, the escorts, the hemp farmers, and the apple pickin pot smokers that we once dreamed we could be. We are on our way to fulfilling our dreams!

But we never would have made it without the help of some very special people. First, of course is Mr. Burntcrow, the coolest teacher I have ever had. Who else would share recipes for special stuffed mushrooms? Or get a "bully" like Mav to befriend a nerd like me

? Mr. Burntcrow showed us that we all have something to learn from each other, weather it is how to make brownies extra yummy or how cool it is to buy your first house. So thank you Mr. Burntcrow, I only wish you taught at UF!

I would also like to thank my parents for carting me around to all of the Fighting Toad Games, band concerts, and mathelete events. And of course my classmates who have made these years here at the FORT a blast! Thank you for being there through all the good times and the bad, the bake sales, the nasty lunch menus, the wedgies, and the embarrassing band performances. I have made some great friends here at FORT High, and I know we will meet again.

So go forward and become your dream. I know each one of you can do it! Stay true to who you are, follow your heart, and always remember you are a FORT Toad inside!

Hello everyone! Just in case you guys have not figured it out, there are really only two students who are competing for the title of School House Rock champion....

So you guys made your speeches and everyone clapped....right? No! This is the internet people! How could we hear if there was any applause?
Part two of the challenge is to get as many people to come in and clap for you in the thread....
Each person you can get to post "claps for ____" will get three points added to their final score. And believe me this is a close one!

So to recap...yes, I will recap what I just posted above, and you just read about 2 seconds ago...Typical reality tv internet game huh?

You must get as many people as you can to come in here and clap for you. The "claps" must be posted in this thread, and the poster must mention your name.....Example...."claps for Maveno cuz her story made me get teary-eyed!" Each clap you recieve will give you three points to add to your final total. The deadline is Tuesday at 12pm! At that point, we can proceed with grauation and name a winner! Good Luck!
