    Thanks RGW! She's a doll.

You'll be surprised how fast those 15 years fly by!

And yes, I do have to change the baby grandson's diaper - but not often. I'm more of a spoil'em grandma than a clean'em grandma!

Will you encourage your adult children to stay close to home?

No, I will encourage them to follow their dreams and go where they need to go (while in my heart I will be HOPING they choose to stay close to home). Thank the Lord for internet and phone service!

Will you give a kid a book instead of a toy?

Every time. Books are always at the top of the list.

Will you let the little ones go at it with a book - ripping pages out if he/she wants to?

Oh my. I have a rascal that does just that. I don't LET him ... it just happens. I try to stop him.

Will you give a kid a magazine instead so they can rip out pages to their heart's content?

Yes, I look at it as an enjoyable and educational activity, even though it may be unconventional for adults. I love joyful babies.

Will you wait until the "storm" is over before cleaning up, or try to pick up the mess as it occurs?

Pickup occurs at the end of the day (if that). No need to do it all day long.

Will you hang a "Do Not Disturb" sign on your door?

We do when we're on vacation.

Will you go to a Renaissance Fair this summer?

No, I did go to the Utah Shakespearean Festival a couple of years ago and loved it. I love theatre anyway - and those people were exceptional.

Will you take small children to the theatre or ballet?

Yes, I started taking my kids to that stuff once they turned 4. I'll never forget taking my youngest daughter to see Peter Pan on stage when she was 4. It was a ballet and she said was confused and mad because they weren't saying anything. Then, out came Tinkerbelle and she pointed and said, "look Mommy, it's Tinkerbelle!" She was mesmerized and quiet the rest of the show.

Will you ever take a grandchild to a Kid Rock concert?

I know what you are saying about the kids and theatre - there was an amazing children's theatre in SLC, and the girls and I would dress up and go see the plays. It's still one of our favorite memories.

I wouldn't take my grandkids anywhere their parents wouldn't take them. It's a little uncomfortable to even go with my own grown-up kids to adult events.

Will you chaperone others' kids in teenage social situations?
