1. bobsledding - because I've gone down the Olympic run in Calgary!- And it's amazingly difficult and scary!
2. aerials - because I saw them live and they're beautiful AND dangerous!
3. speedskating (short track) - it's cutthroat
4. hockey - it's our national sport and our women's team is amazing!

This was another hard category. There are so many great athletes, but they aren't well-known for long periods of time,

1. Dan Janson - Gold Long Speed Skating - 1994 (sister died that morning from Leukemia and he was not a favorite).
2. Nadia Comaneci - Gold Ladies Gymnastics - 1976 (first gymnast to get perfect score; at this time the olympics were not separated from winter/summer games.)
3. Team USA -Gold Hockey - 1980 (big underdogs to Russia and the olympics were not separated from winter/summer games).
4. Team Jamaica -Bobsled - from movie Cool Runnings (based on a real team--lesson to go for your dreams despite adversities).
