No - I think we've been pretty sheltered (and a little naiive) in this country (especially compared to some places in Europe) regarding terrorist activities especially pre 9/11. Truth be told, I am more afraid about the crumbling of the rights (ie. to privacy) that the current administration seems to be intent on diminishing, as well as the continual shift of power and wealth to an elite few.

Quite frankly, nothing scares me more than the religous right(eous) on a power trip.

Do you think the youth of the nation (say 18-25 yrs old) will get out and vote, and do you think it will make a difference in the outcome of the election?

I certainly hope they vote, and YES, I think it could make a difference in the voting outcome..Look how close the Bush-Gore election was. Every vote counts.
Do you plan on watching the Olympics?

Every Olympics (winter and summer) my TV is constantly tuned in. That way I can watch whenever I happen to be in the room, or when folding clothes or cleaning, and I don't feel like I missed anything. My daughter is especially excited about gymnastics and diving
