If you put cold (or tap temperature) water on the eggs and then bring them to a gentle boil and boil for 10 minutes...they won't crack.

Of course, burner temperatures vary...

Some (like Rachel Ray) say, once they're at a roiling boil, take them off the heat for 10 minutes. But I don't buy that...my way works. I could see that that might work, though.

And I love eggs fried medium or over hard, scrambled, hard boiled...
