Before I decide to join, I'd need to know what time (according to what time zone) the events and such will take place. If it's going to be like 3am in my time zone, I'll pass.

Time zone details:
Depending on where you are, you will be as little as 11 hours or more behind Hong Kong and the maximum is like 18 hours ahead (more unlikely I hope)
But the legs can only be completed depending on candidate's speeds (and mine... I'll try to post at 7:00-8:00 am so that gives an afternoon/evening post time for most of you guys :)
As most ppl here live in the US, here are some general ideas on how well time is with us.

If you're at the Honolulu area, you are 18 hours behind.
New York is 13 hours behind.
Rio De Janerio is 11 hours behind
14 hours behind near Chicago.

everything here is within a bus ride or walk. That's the good news. Bad news is property is very expensive. HK$20 million for a 2200 square foot house... typical HKer's (rich ppl lol) houses are at those specs. In the US, movies stars normally spend no more than HK$5 Million decorating and buying their big houses.

Thanks for the analysis of time zones for the Western Hemisphere residents!

Just a suggestion, but if you include within the body of your post the time of day that you are posting it according to your time zone...

Then everybody else can set their board user options to their own time zone, and see at glance the time difference based on:

(1) What time you say it is (your time zone)
(2) What time the baords say you posted (their own time zone).

what the hell, I'm in , although I'd pickup the post at 5 am est which will make me 5 or 6 pm Hong Kong? Maybe you can bear in mind some folks are on in the am(us) and help us out sometimes?
