Ok my over caffinated brain is going wacky on me tonight...the "it" talk and then cutting "the worm" in thirds are making very odd pictures in my brain combining the two topics. (focus focus..i yi yi)

No tequila worm for me...oh wait I had a tequila lollipop once that had a worm in it, but that really doesn't count.

And heck yeah JD, I'm a native Floridian and I was getting a kick out of everyone bundled up here this past week. For some reason I'm getting immune to the *coughcoldcough* weather and don't break out a jacket till the low 40's, we hit the 60 mark and my customers are wearing big thick jackets and leather gloves??? WTF??

Isn't that hilarious, Libra. It's about 25 degrees here and I just ran to the Sev in jeans, a sweater and my slippers.

Holy moly - that is cold! Do you people even own coats down there? My daughter grew up here where we wear tank tops and shorts if the weather gets up to 60, and she says in Miami the locals wear their coats, hats and mittens if the temp gets that low. We get a kick out of it.

And yes, I don't mind sharing the worm. Have you kids ever done the worm (from the bottle of tequila, I mean)?

Yes, North GA in winter averages highs in the 40's this time of year, lows in the 30's.We do get some colder weather every year and maybe one or two snow days,also ice storms on occasion. I think people get the wrong impression from TV and movies because they always show the hot, humid summer scenes, and also the Spanish moss, alligators and so forth that are only in the southern half of the state. Yes, I havbe eaten the Agave Worm! Of course at that point I was so drunk I don't think it made any difference at all.

And holy crap! I'm still reading through this thread and I find the pic of cowboys and the soldier (cop? soldier? I ain't goin' back there.) Anyhow, apparently this place went crazy tonight. And a question: why do they look so casual? But then, maybe that's a typical night for american men, and we just don't know about it.

Okay, and because I can, I just have to say, that queenb, I just feel like joking around about your comment: "when I get my new Unit Saturday". Lol I'm feelin' all Beavis for some reason.... Reminds me of Garth (ala Dana Carvey) from the SNL skits, seeing a pic of himself in a fake SNL Madonna video, and saying, "whoah man, check out the unit on that guy."

I think it's the heat. It's going to my brain.

I was in Atlanta in July a couple of years ago. I was pretty sure I was going to melt into a puddle of Jayne (and not in a good way!) As many times as I've been to Miami, I've never been hotter than Atlanta.
