Lucy - So what you're saying is that I've mentioned being a reporter more than once, right? Sorry all.

Jewelsy (extra hug to you, dear) - I've caught a recap or two from Lucy so I knew she was screamingly talented, but I thought that was just a hobby, not a profession. Not that most reporters *have* a sense of humor.

Was a reporter. Then a freelancer. Now I have a real job. But I'm dreaming of going back to freelancing soon :swoon

You mentioned it at least once, somewhere. Good on you for escaping the daily gerbil wheel.
But almost every reporter I know has a sense of humor. A dry, caustic, cynical sense of humor. Black humor, funeral humor.

Tighty-whitie is what I've always heard, btw. 'Cause they're tight and white.

Ah, if only I knew how. Well, you heard it here first, kids. When it shows up in general usage, credit me!

I have a friend who is at least part metrosexual: he's very concerned about his clothes and his looks, and he gets more clothing catalogues than his girlfriend. But he likes fishing, and he's taken up hunting (although he hunts squirrels and quail, and to my southern sensibilities this is sissy. You hunt deer and turkey. ).
So we have dubbed him a "metro-bubba".
    That is just too precious!

Stargazer, in the book Spicoli is a very minor character

What do you do, go around finding the book versions of movies? A week or two ago it was "Election." I never *knew* all these movies existed in book form.

I've never heard the phrase before. Honestly. Which is correct, I wonder?
Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure it's "Tighty Whities". Hell, rarely are men's WHITE briefs "Tidy".

    Just my humble opinion.

I've always heard tighty whities but google gives you a bunch of hits on each. Maybe it depends (no pun intended) on what part of the country you're from.
