    Congrats OTS

The 'wi' does stand for wireless. My husband's company is a Wisp (wireless isp) and wifi is how I talk to you fine people

There's a saying in New England that goes,

"If you don't like the weather in New England, wait a minute."

That was true yesterday. Yesterday, I was outside during the day in short sleeves and by dinnertime, I had 12 layers of clothing on freezing my butt off. It was such a drastic change, I thought I'd share that with you....

    Thanks for the mental image.
    Howdy.
It's freezing cold here today too. The wind cut through my gloves, pants and coat. I hate cold weather if it's not snowing. And Sunday it was in the 70's!

Wi-fi, to my understanding, is a way of connecting to the Internet without plugging in anything. It has to do with radio signals or something, and there has to be something that serves as a tower of sorts that you have to be near, plus you have to have your computer rigged up for wi-fi. (this explanation brought to you courtesy of someone who doesn't even understand the difference between DSL and cable Interent. Or is there one? )
Uh, there is a difference between DSL and cable internet. DSL goes through your phone line and cable internet, as the name suggests, goes through your cable line. I've read in many places that cable is faster than DSL, but I wouldn't know. I haven't tried DSL, and I just only got cable internet two weeks ago.

Hey, guys, I've got to go for a bit. Should be back in an hour or so. Don't get all crazy and start talking about catheters again while I'm gone! :nono
