Game: Who am I?

Here's a new idea for a music game...forgive me if there's already something like this buried at the bottom of the forum.

Here's the deal: You'll put down clues about the identity of an artist or group, and then someone else will try to guess who it is. If they get it right, then they will put clues for another artist/group down and it continues like everything else.

Example:

I was the leader of one of the biggest alternative rock groups in the 90s. After I disbanded them in 2000, I recorded another album with a new "supergroup." My main instrument is guitar. I used to have long hair, but now I'm bald...and most people agree I look better.

Answer: Billy Corgan (of Smashing Pumpkins and Zwan)

Everyone get it?

So, I'll start us off:

We are one of the most popular and longest-lived bands around, with nearly too many albums to count. We've also toured the world over several times. We gained notoriety in the early days for being offensive and controversial to some, but our lead singer is set to be knighted soon. Our guitarist isn't too happy about it.

OK, I guess I was right. Here's a new one:

I was the lead singer of a band that was waaaay ahead of its time in the 60s and 70s. After I left them, I embarked on a very successful solo career and became one of the most famous and popular heavy metal artists around. Still, I'm possibly most famous for biting the heads off certain winged creatures.

Ok, I have one... I am the pop/wannabe hip-hop diva of the 90's. I had many CD's that went multiplatinum! Even my Christams CD went platinum 3 times! I have collaberated with many rap artists such as Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, and many others. I have an extremely vast range in my voice, and am considered one of the best female singers ever to live (maybe, some might not think that)

I'm lovin' it !

I am a member from a boyband and we will be uniting soon for an upcoming album. I have successfully crossed over with my solo album, thanks to N.E.R.D., Timbaland and more who has helped me with the song writing and compositing sections. I used to date a pop princess but broke up with her because I found her cheating. Now, I'm engaged with one of Charlie's Angels. (It's so easy!)
