I just had a similar conversation with a friend in DC about being blind or deaf. I was a music major (violin) and I love music way too much. I'd be a blind painter. I'd miss seeing the mountains, but I could smell and hear what I miss seeing.

    Snow skiing or cross-country skiing?

Tough tough choice...I'll go with lobster, but only because I just got back from Maryland and I ate crab almost every single day...it was SOOOO GOOD!

When I was living in NYC, we had mussels all the time.... just a bit of white wine (anything as long as its drinkable), fresh Thai basil, a bit of crushed red pepper flake, and cilantro... cooked until just opened.... yum
