*winks at JD & Snoopy* (and I really try not to duplicate my answers, same with the movies.)
He recorded over 600 songs, (in a career that lasted from approximately 1934 (he was 17) to 1984.) first on the Apollo label, then the Diamond label (by the way most of these were 78s') then Embassy records signed him, then of course the major Capitol label got him for years, then when Frank (yes that one) began Reprise he went there. His last album in 1984 was on the Warner label and is one of the few not available on CD. On my hardrive I currently have something like 38 solid hours of just Dean doing his thing. To quote my mother "There are/were some good singers, but no one could sing like Dean Martin".
