Actually, there was quite a bit of "wonder" about the movie Jaws. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with the term one hit wonder? (Someone or something that enjoys fame for a brief transitory moment and then fades into obscurity) I only laughed because pretty much everyone involved with that movie went on to experience great success. Over and over and over again. No big whoop.

Films trying to cash in on a trend that they missed the peak of:

    1. The Mothman Prophecies
    2. Deep Impact

(Not to be confused with Towering Inferno )
Iím haunted a little this evening by feelings that have no vocabulary and events that should be explained in dimensions of lint rather than words.

MAbye modesty would like a turn to pick a category since I've run out of ideas ;-) (Think of it as a "One-month present")

This thread seems to have died and is in desperate need of an ER fix.

So -- next topic: Movies that made you cry (possibly uncontrollably) at the theater

    1 - Saving Private Ryan
"They can only edit what you give them. They cannot manufacture a fictional character out of thin air." (Bill Rancic - 4/04)
Regarding editing reality TV: "You can't edit IN a bad personality." ("Cali"-11/02)
    BB8 - A "conveyor belt of human garbage." ("Pono" - 9/07)

When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

Lobeck and I posted a response simultaneously. Since mine came in second, I went in to edit mine to include his. At the same time, he elected to delete his post! I saw this when I finished editing so I went back in to remove his entry from mine. Meanwhile, you clipped my list of three and posted your reply which included the now non-existent second entry from Lobeck. He and I were both trying to make it right and wound up making it worse. What a clusterf***!
