Why do people place themselves on a pedestal, looking down on the so-called peasants and peons below, only to make themselves look foolish?
what's a 'peon'?
a peon is the lowliest person in a society. For example, in a corporate firm, the guy who delivers the mail and runs silly errands is the "peon" - he has no clout or stature.
Does that make sense?
