| Helpful Links I thought since everyone is on their own for hotels, these links might be helpful for Vegas Virgins like myself. This one shows where all the hotels/attraction/and airport are located http://www.vegas.com/map.html This one has the monorail map http://www.lvmonorail.com/ride_02_routemap_pop.html Maybe if anyone else has any helpful links, they could post them here so they don't clutter up the attendee thread. ![]()

| For booking hotels, I've found http://www.expedia.com and http://www.travelocity.com have rates much lower than the hotel websites. The Sahara is the hotel that most of us are staying at. You don't have to stay at that hotel if you don't want to. There are other hotels nearby that you can choose from. ![]()

| http://www.vegas.com/transportation/monorails.html This map shows some of the free trams and monorails you can use in addition to the one you have to pay for. http://www.bell-trans.com/vehicle_trolley_map.htm This one is for the trolley that goes up and down the strip every 15 minutes. http://frommers.com/destinations/lasvegas/ has descriptions and ratings of just about every attraction, restaurant, hotel, casino and so forth plus message boards about Vegas. This site is from one of the biggest publishers of travel guides, and the information is almost identical to what you'd get at a bookstore for $18.99 or so! I've been out there quite a bit for days and weeks at a time too, and been in most every hotel and casino, and know my way around so if anyone gets disoriented, confused or just wonders about something and can't find what they want online, pm me and it's quite possible I might be able to share some info. Not trying to be a smartass, I'd just like to be helpful if I can.

| For flights: www.mobissimo.com Goes out to all the travel sites and fetches prices on your itinerary, so you don't have to go from site to site. Vegas for the (ahem) thrifty: www.cheapovegas.com. I've pointed them out before somewhere on this board, but it's worth pointing out again: their trip reports are hilarious...but be warned: very unFoRTlike language and humor ahead. ![]()

| I found this site that lists a few outdoorsy sightseeing excursions in case anyone was interested. http://www.cityguide.travel-guides.c...Excursions.asp And if you don't like the "guided tour" stuff and prefer to make your own adventure, I also found this one for "off the beaten path" stuff with insider/locals tips on stuff: http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel...-C-1.html#tips
