Astro, you win the award for being best-prepared for the cold weather! I think you're the only one who wasn't a meat popsicle by the end of the day.

Unless the award was a big chocolate trophy, why cares? Just let them have their titles.

Thank you Manny I thoungt I might win an honorable mention for pointing out that we needed the yellow star trolley, or maybe "most blatant time with Steve and Dave hog"

Thanks. Those are all hilarious.
It was a CRIME how UNhungover John was. And no sympathy for those of us with pounding heads.
And yeah, Phat32 was totally channeling TAR contestants on the way into Chicago. He was whipping out a palm pilot and cell phone and a map and stopping strangers -- I expected to see a red and yellow marker across the street by the trolley stop.

FORTcon II we're definitely making yellow and red flags and markers so we can re-enact TAR as we rush from event to event.

Hey ummmm since I was one of the 4 that were eliminated at the hotel after trailing on the way back from the Pier, does that mean I'm also eliminated from FORTCon II's race? I couldn't help it, there was a picture opportunity I HAD to get of the full pizza on the side of the overpass under the tree!

You know, if we'd thought about it we SHOULD have paired off and raced, each pair making their way to Navy Pier on their own.
I think, though, that some of us would STILL be wandering around the Blue Line.

A bunch of us traveled to Chicago this weekend to meet and see the sights...and the hotel bar. A fabulous time was had by all.
