Unk.... I owe you my undying gratitude that it prompted John to get rid of that pompous British host dood av that kept scaring the heck out of me.

Here's the best picture of FORTcon. It's the whole group who went on the Haunted Ship....

Middle Row: oneTVslave, Mrs. Blue Meanie, "The Ghost", Libra1022, Stargazer, Wolf, Mantenna

That is a great photo, John! Have I mentioned lately how jealous I am?

I do like that picture from the Haunted Ship. Almost worth standing an hour in the driving wind (that was cold enough that the Alaskan native of the group was complaining about the cold) on Lake Michigan just for the 5 minute walk through the boat.

We had fun. Wish we could have met more of our FORT friends. Next time . . .

I am so in for FORTcon II--Vegas, baby! (that's just my unofficial preference )
Glad you guys all had so much fun.

Add me on the "FORTcon II--Vegas" list. I could drive there from here...easily.

We really did discuss doing FORTcon 2005 in a warmer month, and the concensus seemed to be for Vegas next time, where we don't have to worry about closing the bars each night.

The thought was that this was a "floater" to make sure we could all get along, have some fun, and not kill each other. Mission successful. Now we expect ALL of you at the next one.

Vegas in October is warm. Then again, Vegas in summer and we would all have to stay in the bar...that could work too.
