Okay, I just got a "flash" of what it would be like to have a torrid affair with DVM. Could you just hear him commanding your every move with that voice? It's an oddly erotic thought actually.

Oh funnygirl..you're off your rocker now!

I'd be REALLY pissed at him all the time though...everytime you'd get all hot and heavy and just about to consummate..when suddenly he stops and says in that deep voice..
"TUNE IN NEXT WEEK AND SEE WHAT AMAZING AND SHOCKING THING I'M GOING TO DO NEXT!!!"

He'd ALWAYS be putting things off for next week and talking about it like it's SHOCKING, when actually it's one big ole let down!!!
All things beautiful do not have to be full of color to be noticed; in
life that which is unnoticed has the most power.

I wonder how he would handle the "flashback" sequences? That would be like playing twister wiht canola oil and sugar. Just uncomfortable and unstaifsfying.

For those who have never seen it, I recommend watching the trailer for Jerry Seinfeld's film "Comedian"--a trailer which oddly enough doesn't feature Jerry at all. It features Dramatic Voiceover Guy's close cousin, the "In A World" Movie Trailer Voice Guy.

It just got me thinking of the possible jokes that could be had at FOX DVG's expense.

Imagine the conversations if Fox Dramatic Voiceover Guy and the "In A World" Guy sit down for lunch together!

    DVG: Most! Shocking! Menu! Ever!
IAWG: In a world... where menus are boring, they decided to break ranks!
DVG: But will they choose the chicken wings or will there be a dramatic twist?
IAWG: Two men... bucking the system and going rogue... but can they get a waiter to the table before IT'S TOO LATE!

If you REALLY want a laugh imagine that that announcer guy from "The Price is Right" is the third guy at that lunch.

If you're talking about Ron Roddy (?) isn't he dead? That would be weird.

As soon as I hear Mark Thompson's voice, I automatically think "chesse!!!".

It was fine when he did Guiness World Records, I'll give him that, but then he was the voice of every pile of crap on TV for a while (Man vs Beast.....That's Just Wrong, etc), now he is moving over to Reality Shows and that "cheeseness" has followed.

    Most overused voice EVER!
