After the show, we get to watch the 3 pilots that were picked, and vote on our favorite:
Food Network Star : Food Network
Nikki, The Grill Next Door is first.
She actually does a decent job.
I like the format of the judges -- adding Anne Burrell, Aaron Sanchez, Melissa D'Azidytz, Robert Irvine, etc.
Then Michelle comes out. Way more fun and interesting, I think!
Now it's Team Giada.
Yipi (sp - sorry) is OK, but the judges seem to like him and his viewpoint pretty much.
Yvan does his spiel. The judges are not sure what his "style" is, but they seem to like him OK.

Justin is first. Oh, I love that Rebel With a Culinary Cause -- and so do the judges.
They can tell he's a mini-Alton. Sunny wants to have a beer with him and go skateboarding together.
Martie's next.
I don't like her, but her promo is good and casual. The judges think she's fun and love her.
Is it possible we could have BOTH members from Team Alton's into the Final Promo?
I could truly see Nikki and Yipi on their way home after watching tonight~
Three are going home:
Nikki (Bobby's team) and her grill next door are going home.
Aloha, Yipi (from Giada's team).
Three are getting pilots:
Michelle from Team Bobby.
Yvan from Team Giada.
The decision about Team Alton is the cliffhanger going off to commercial -- and everyone is in tears.
Justin is the winner from Team Alton (Yay and silent fist pump!).
Aaaaaand so is MARTIE!
The judges think both Justin and Martie earned the right to air pilots.
Have I mentioned lately how much I love Alton?
Now they're just showing each of the finalists working with their FB Star/Coach to shoot their promos.
Next, the promos will be aired and it will be up to America to go to FoodNetwork.com to vote.
