I also tried to vote online, I tried for like 20 minutes, no luck. With our family plan, we are charged for that text message thing, so online is the only way I could go. I don't know how to use that text thing anyway. I use my phone only to call and answer if it rings. LOL!! I'm not used to all this new technology stuff!

Anyway, I was going to vote for the boys! I just never cared for Debra since the first episode. I think it was "stay cute while in the kitchen", or something like that. I'm 52 years old, when I'm cooking, I could care less how "cute" I look. I just want to get the food cooked, so I and my family can eat and I can relax the rest of the night. Haha!!

I would have preferred a Susannah/Hans final, but am glad Deborah didn't win. She should have been eliminated a few rounds ago.

I am so glad Dan & Steve won! I think that they are a fantastic duo, and I would definitely tune in regularly to their program. They are funny, sincere, have a lot of heart, and the food they make sounds spectacular!

I have an intense craving for lobster pot pie now.

Count me as another person who is baffled that Deborah made it as far as she did. I think that of the final three, even though Hans did speed through his last challenge, he was still ten times better than Deb. You know, during her pilot, I still didn't know who the heck she was. She never took the judges' advice to define her personality; it was like, oh I'm Miss Trinidad, now I'm Southern Folk, hey there, I'm the Hollywood Chef. The way she shifted personalities constantly was creepy. And I was disgusted by her stealing D&S's idea for salmon en croute. Underhanded Deb!

Am I the only one who actually liked Susannah? I guess it's because I didn't mind her resemblance to Rachael Ray (whom I happen to like), and I also am interested in her recipes (because when it comes to cooking at home, I try my best to do healthy, low-fat cooking, since when we eat out at restaurants, I can't control those factors--and I don't want to, fatty food tastes so good! ).

I really hope they do this show again. It's perfect for me, as I am a Food TV and Reality TV junkie.

Add this to your craving for a meat pie in another thread just now, methinks someone here definately is hungry right now!

I have to admit that I'm shallow enough that Susannah's resemblance to Rachael Ray is one of the things that really turned me off about her, because I really don't like Rachael Ray. And as far as Susannah's low-fat cooking, that's all well and good I suppose (not something I'm interested in, myself), but what I didn't like was her brow-beating about it. Slimmy-slim-slimmy-slim-slim needs to learn balance, imho. None of the things she made were appealing to me, but if they had been, her constant brow-beating of slimmy-slim-slim would have turned me off of them. An occasional mention would be ok, I guess, but she just acts like she's talking to people with a 60-second retention span and has to keep mentioning it... tooo toooooo much.

Deborah She burned her chicken. Garlic powder and fresh garlic in her greens with no explanation for the redundancy. Boullion AND chicken stock, again with no reason given. Daddy's herbs needed an recipe and it's value to keep on hand. No timing mentioned for the chicken in fat or oven. "Stay with me, we are out of time." Her personality has NEVER been genuine. Her hair is TERRIBLE. Her theme could have been chef to the stars. Fried chicken and greens is NOT Carribean. What a mess.

I have no idea why she beat out Susannah for a place in the finals unless they just wanted an African American woman since they do not have one on their roster. Susannah resembles Rachael Ray only slightly. Shoulder length brown hair and a big smile is all I can see. Their personalities and focus are very different.

Did anyone pick up on the fact that Dan and Steve may be a part of a show that features a number of chefs? The program is already named so this crossed my mind.

These men were my first choice so I am pleased. I would have preferred to have Susannah second place. She was not a favorite of mine but she had the skill to have earned that position.
