With my daughter - at 22 - it's pears. She never did like them . . . a textural thing.

Funny how one food can be such a turn-off.

I always told me son that is okay to not like food. Growing up he hated tomato sauce, now he eats it. I hated broccoli , now I love it. Tastes do change. Still not a tomato fan though.

Oh, absolutely...I don't care if he hates it, as long as he *tried* it first.

And, apart from tomatoes, his tastes change on a regular basis. There have been times when he's chastised me for not buying something (that he used to hate and now he loves), so (again, apart from tomatoes), I gave up. I make it, he eats it. I even include tomatoes in some things...I figure he can avoid them :-)

So I don't really care how many times Nikki tries to mold herself into what she thinks they want to see, I find her incredibly annoying and can't imagine a 30-minute show that's all about her!

Same here! It annoys me that she's still there. She's been making it up as she goes along just as much as Malcolm was. She just gets lucky.

I don't actively dislike any of the ones that are left, but the only one whose show I would watch is Ippy for three reasons.

    1. I really do like him.
    2. His cuisine is different from any I've seen on the cooking shows and I'd like to learn more about it.
    3. I have to admire any culture that has developed a language with only 12 letters in it.

ITA. The Grill Next Door is as tired as Retro Rad. Enough. I am stumped as to why Flay seems to like her.

The only show I would watch is Michele or Justin.
