Rib-eyes with mashed potatoes and salad (with Boston lettuce, tomatoes, and broccoli from my CSA).

Thai delivery (tofu spring rolls, crispy shrimp rolls, and drunken noodles) because neither of us had the energy nor desire to cook.

I had leftover London Broil, leftover rib-eyes, and a bunch of mushrooms, so I made beef stroganoff, with caramelized onions and noodles.

    It was good :-)

I rarely ever cook dinner on sunday so my lunch today is fried okra, potatoes, brown beans and cornbread. I will also have my homeade chowchow to go with the beans.

    We're having grilled chicken-apple sausage with not-quite-so-fatty mac'n'cheese.
    For dessert, I made peach-basil mini-cobblers.

Chowchow is a relish... I think it may be called picalilli, too.

    Thanks! That's a start.
I'll have to look it up -- I don't know it by either name.

Chow Chow is a relish. The recipes you google has lots of sugar in it and this doesn't. It is made with green tomatoes, onions, red and green bell pepper and cabbage. This was my mothers recipe and you can also use this recipe to make sweet relish with.
