I just slice the loin and reduced the juices down and poured over it. I am eating it alone but you could use it on a sandwich or with veggies. It is what my lunch is today.
    My mouth is watering....

Do you have a recipe for the chili? I'd love to make it.

Its really cold here. This week its going to be in the low 20's. I plan on making soup. I think veggie soup tonight.

I'mHere I just brown my meats with onion and then add my chili powder and salt and pepper with a large can of tomato juice and simmer for at least and hour. This is the basic recipe and then if you like beans in it add them or you can add green or red peppers. My husband likes it plain but for me I would add smoked sausage diced up. The regular pork sausage to me gives it more flavor.

I really like chili and make it often... though I never thought of putting in different meats. I usually use juse one at a time... ground chicken or ground turkey. But... I like the idea of the different meats together. I usually keep my veggies chunky. I now what I'll be making some time this week.

Thanks for your tasty tips nennie!!!!

I think I'll get up early tomorrow and start the crockpot before I head to the Y.
Stir fried fennel and leeks with tofu tonight. I have a butternut squash in the oven right now. I'll have that on the side.
    Count your blessings!
