I think tonight might be "leftovers" night. There's a lot of stuff in the fridge :-)

No doubt you're gonna whip something amazing up from all those leftovers.... we want details.

I have decided to fix a pot of beans and make some spaghetti and have 3 way chili and if you put cheese on it is 4 way. good hearty meal.

I bought a small pork loin this morning because I have been seeing them cook them on tv so I really was hungry for one. I rubbed it with mustard and then seasoned it and then put brown sugar on it and baked it and it is so yummy. This may be a go to dish for get togethers.

Just beans in your chili? No meat? I just printed out a recipe for chicken chili and a chuck roast chili. I usually make chili with ground chicken or turkey.

The pork loin sounds sooooo yummy! How will you serve it? As pulled pork?

I made a separate pot of beans. I don't usually mix them til I have just a little left over of each and then make chili beans out of them. My chili consists of ground pork, ground chicken, sausage and ground beef. Sometime I use ground turkey.

I just slice the loin and reduced the juices down and poured over it. I am eating it alone but you could use it on a sandwich or with veggies. It is what my lunch is today.

I have a 19 year old male in the house, we rarely have a leftover.

Mmmm. I have been craving potato soup.

Tonight was meatloaf with mashed potatoes and purple-hull peas. I added grated carrots to the meatloaf like someone here had mentioned (think it was TripleGemini ?); nice tip - it turned out well, and I'll be doing that from now on.

Soup for me tonight. Carrot soup spiced with curry and ginger plus a grilled chicken patty and sauteed mushrooms. With a glass of Baco Noir. I wasn't sure about the pairing, but it worked well for me. I am all warmed up on a cold night in the Northwest.
