    Re: Whats For Dinner TONIGHT?

Trader Joe's Pappardelle Pasta with Chicken and a Mushroom Mascarpone Sauce. Ready in minutes in a covered skillet with a couple teaspoons of water. Tastes like you spent hours on it.

Oatmeal :-) (Hubby's working a swim meet in Cambridge, so he's gone for the weekend, and I'm just not in the mood to cook or eat and son has swim team time trials tonight, so he's going for carbs.)

    Re: What's For Dinner TONIGHT?

I tried to start a holiday party food thread. I had two parties the past week. The first being a bring an appetizer dish party and the next being a bring a side dish dinner party. The things that went over best at the dinner party was a spinach casserole, a salad (lettuce with some fruit) and salmon. On the dessert side, I think a caramel layer cake went over best...I guess because it is most uncommon looking. Next year I think I will pick a lighter desert. I made fudge and rice crispy treats, and bought apple pie and italian fruit bread...so something light but different. We were so stuffed.
    You can do it!
