My chili didn't turn out very good. I used very lean hamburger and it didn't have much flavor.

Maybe try ground turkey next time?

I made what my husband calls "a concoction": onions, multi-colored peppers, my sausage, hamburg (extra lean), rice, and crushed tomatoes. I also steeped an ancho chili and threw that in. And I made enough so that I could freeze half (I leave in two weeks for a week-long business trip, so I'm trying to get stuff into the freezer that they can eat. Otherwise, they'll subsist on cereal and pizza.)

A huge salad. I haven't been eating enough greens lately.

Marinated sirloin tips, scalloped potatoes, and broccoli. (I found an awesome recipe for scalloped potatoes that came out great, and it's relatively healthy...it uses milk and chicken stock and only a couple of ounces of cheese. And it was done in under an hour! Plus it was really good :-) )

It's my husbands birthday so we are having rib eyes, baked potato and salad and I bought him a cake.
