Love, love, love chicken pot pie. I cheat and use the frozen pie shells or sometimes the Pillsbury one you get in the dairy aisle. My favorite comfort food.

Husband had an omelet I had a piece of toast.

Here is a great pie crust recipe.
6 lbs of all purpose flour
I can butter flavor crisco(no Substitutes)
    3 tablespoons salt.
mix till pea size and refridgerate. When you want a 9 in crust just use 1 cup mix and 3 tablespoons water. This is the best pie crust and it stays in the fridge really well for a long time. If it's to much share with someone.

We had leftover lasagna :-) (That was the best lasagna I've made in years.)

I made my Tuna Salad Niçoise! I use Italian canned tunafish, Mediterranean black olive tapenade, haricot vert, egg whites and a touch of mayo to bind.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Chicken-veggie-noodle soup -- homemade, with the bone broth I made last week.
Perfect for this rainy day/night, when apparently, after having no measurable rain since June, we're apparently getting our year's worth of rainfall in one weekend, thanks to the current "Pineapple Express."

I made sweet and sour pork last night. My latest trick is to buy a large pork loin when it's on sale and cut it into four portions. Turns out I only really need a half portion for a meal! So hubby and I had pork chops for dinner tonight with noodles and broccoli.
