Most of it — I help with chopping, prep, cleanup, and wine selection.

Tonight we're having stuffed green pepper casserole. So much easier and just as tasty as going to the work of stuffing peppers. Very good casserole full of bubbly cheese melted throughout.

Red beans and rice with pickeled peppers. And maybe some shrimp on the side.

Polish sausage, half an elephant ear, some fries, and a caramel apple. Yeah, the fair is in town.

I think we'll have leftovers tonight from yesterday. We cooked barbeque chicken on the grill, and had baby gold potatoes, green peas and green garden salad with my new salad dressing. It's simple, but I finally got the right porportions. It's just olive oil, dijion mustard and fresh lemon juice. Man, that stuff is tasty. It just makes everything so fresh and zesty. I think it's better on the chicken than barbeque sauce.
