Spicy(-ish) sausage quesadillas and chocolate bread pudding.

(The best part of today? Was when my son left for work and my husband left for Boston at 7:30 am, and the earliest anyone got home was 5 pm. This introvert was in heaven :-) )

So yesterday was CSA day :-) I got lettuce, four kinds of tomatoes (green, heirloom, plum, and cherry), eggplant, edamame, beets, carrots, eggs, and flowers. And a new guy is now at the Farmer's Market from Salem Spice, so I got dill seed, Berbere (a mildly spicy blend), cilantro, and ancho peppers.

Dinner last night was "taco enchiladas" with avocado cream. I used the Berbere to make the taco mixture, rolled it up in tortillas, and covered the enchiladas with the leftover sauce and cheese.

I just ate one for lunch :-)

Tonight we're having beef roast, red potatoes and carrots in the crockpot.

That is one of my favorites! Sometimes I switch up and serve the crock pot beef w/ mashed potatoes and sweet/candied carrots.

Leftovers tonight. Shrimp faux Creole with Jasmine rice.

Hubby's making a red beans and rice dish. As his sous-chef, it's my job to make the rice (simmering now) and chop stuff (onions, celery, garlic, peppers). Dang, I'd better get to work...

Last night was pasta with pesto (I harvested armloads of basil).

Tonight is leftovers again :-) (We need to finish up the food that's left so I can make more.)

Dried out tilapia and garden salad. Hubby left them on the grill and got sidetracked by a conversation with the neighbor's vinyl siding guy. The one plus was he brought home sweet as could be cherry tomatoes from his co-worker's garden. Divine!
