I was craving granola cereal tonight but didn't have any in my pantry.
I'll definitely have to put it on my next shopping list.

Target has a pumpkin spice cereal that I will just have to try. I adore pumpkin.

I like pumpkin, too. I'll have to look for that the next time I'm at Target. Thanks for the tip!
I'm familiar with that brand! I've gotten their Dark Chocolate Granola before. It didn't last too long. I could eat it dry or with milk. Very yummy!
I went grocery shopping after work and Publix had Cascadian Farm granola on sale, 2 boxes for $6, so I got the French Vanilla Almond and Dark Chocolate Almond. I had the French Vanilla for supper.![]()
I still like some. Lucky Charms, Fruit Loops, Nesquik, and Frosted Flakes are grrreat! Also some less-flavorful stuff like Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies, and plain Cheerios are good, too.

I have rediscovered oatmeal, having dreaded it as a child 50 years ago when the only way to get it down was equal parts brown sugar, LOL. Extra thick rolled oats cooked in fat free milk and generous amounts of diced walnuts, raisins and flaxseed meal mixed in. (no sugar!!) It's my latest attempt to eat a better breakfast. It doesn't require much tending while cooking in a double boiler, but I do find it takes much longer to eat because I need to chew it thoroughly (the nuts?).
My favorite cold cereal is Alpen, which I would gladly eat any time of the day.
