This caught my eye as well. Haven't tried this yet, but will have to check it out on my next trip.

I found the best lasagna recipe on the side of the Trader Joe "no boil lasagna noodles". If you can find the noodles, read the recipe on the side of the box, all the ingredients are sold at TJs. The only thing that I do is add shredded Italian cheese (found at TJs, too) between the layers and on the top. It is the easiest, quickest way to make lasagna and you only dirty one pan and the Alfredo sauce makes it so creamy!

If this is the same recipe that you sent me and I think it is, I can attest to how delicious it is.

The closest TJ's to me is about an hour away.....that's not so bad I guess. I'm thinking a trip there soon may be in order.

If you need fiber in your diet, their fiber cakes have about 13 grams per muffin! Also, keep in mind almost all TJ's bread products have NO preservatives (tortillas included) so you have to refrigerate them or eat them quickly!

The chewable Vitamin C tablets are great. Do you have pets? My dogs love their biscuits that smell like gingerbread men. They also have PB flavored Joint and Hip support biscuits and they sell the glucosomine tablets for dogs for only $10 and they are $60 through my vet!

One last thing, the papparadelle pasta (dried pasta section) is really good!

Wow....you are going to have fun!!! Are you driving there and back in one day? Five hours each way? You should e-mail them to tell them that you are doing that....they would probably be very happy to hear that!

Where do they have the frozen gnocchi with gorgonzola? Is it with the packaged frozen foods, or over with the refrigerated raviolis?

My mum and I just got back from TJ's, and sadly they don't carry the pie crusts anymore. However we did some good damage. I'm currently eating the pesto/tomato flatbread and it is yummy. We also got a basil plant for $3, vegetarian French onion soup, raspberry creme brulee, and so forth. They also don't carry the parmesan garlic pita crisps anymore, however the Everything bagel chips are delish as well.

It's in the frozen section. It is imported from Italy...so delicious! It comes in a bag and the sauce is actually frozen little discs that thaw and heat in the pan with the gnocchi!...sooooooo good!!! Let me know what you think after you try them!

As planned, I had the wild mushroom and black truffle flat bread for dinner tonight. Oh my. Critical was not quite glowing enough in just how heavenly it really is. If years from now, any of you encounter a child named "Critical", then you'll know I was still remembering that flat bread, and who introduced it to me, when I have my first born.

Wow, Veruka - that is quite a review! I'll have to add that to my shopping list for my next trip to Trader Joes. I don't get there as often as I'd like, but every time I go there I go hog-wild! So much good stuff there, yum.
