How did I miss this thread?!

It's Friday, and guess who's making Pomegranate Margaritas in a few hours!

Have you ever tried mixing a bottle of champagne with a can of frozen pink lemonade concentrate? It is really good and perfect from a party. You can use any of the frozen concentrate juices but I usually go for the lemonade.

Maybe using limeade would make it green and look more halloweenish. :-)
    Thanks.

And if you put dry ice in it, you'll have that cool witch's brew "smoke" effect. (Bonus if you put it in a dark corner with a black light over it . . .)

It is pomegranate season. I found a beauty at a local store and have put it to good use. A drink that I think is called a Pomekazi (spelling is negotiable here) - triple sec, pomegranate liqueur, citrus vodka, fresh lime juice, lime slices and pomegranate kernels on the rocks. Do you want to join me for a cocktail? I put lots of kernels in and use a spoon to snack on them once the drink has been consumed

Looks like this thread has been dormant for a little while, so I'll bring it back up to the top with this bit of news:

Sorry Scotch lovers . . . this one might make you weep

The Associated Press: 100-year-old Scotch pulled from frozen crate

I realize the "historical" significance, but to NOT drink it seems a shame.
