The low carb pizza crust recipe is from Rob Thompson’s “The Glycemic Load Diabetes Solution”.
1 1/4 cups water
1 cup wheat gluten
1 cup rice protein
1/2 cup oat bran
1/2 cup flaxseed meal
3/4 cup almond meal
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 envelope active dry yeast.
For two pizzas (recipe does not say what size pan).
For each slice of an 8-slice pizza (crust only): 204 calories, 9g fat, 27g protein, 8g carbohydrate, 4g dietary fiber
Thanks, Brooks. I will have to try this when I make pizza next time.

Our Halloween go-out plans had to be cancelled, and we ended up staying at home. We didn't get nearly as many trick-or-treaters as I'd planned/bought for. As a result, I have a lot of little bags of mini-pretzels. Anyone have healthy-ish (i.e. not so many processed ingredients) recipes in which we can use these? I was thinking of maybe incorporating them in a pie- or cheesecake crust for a salty-sweet thing.
(Or I could just take them to the homeless shelter up the street...)

You could always grind them up and put in meat loaves, on top of casseroles that call for breading or in hamburgers for added flavor minus some salt.
You don't have to attend every argument you are invited to.
Or melt chocolate chips, add the crushed pretzels, spread on a lined serving dish, refrigerate, and break into bark.
Count your blessings!
Meatloaf - I had two large bags of pretzels left from the Halloween party, didn't know what to do with them, and this worked for part of one bag! I tried your idea, but made meatballs instead- with an egg, some Great Lakes steak seasoning, a litle ketchup, and no extra salt. It worked! Great meatballs gor spaghetti. Thanks for posting.
