I brought home the tiny trays from the mini fridge at work that had been stored in the cupboard and never used. They'd be perfect for that.

You know what might work, Miss Scarlett? Those specialty trays that make shapes or long, thin cubes for water bottles.

When I was in crisis and my mom was in the hospital crisis-me decided that I needed to have a little counter top egg cooker.... Normal-me is like I don't even really like eggs other than poached eggs but ok I guess. Crisis-me is a genius. I'm still getting the poaching timing right but it was so much ease. I made one hard boiled egg tonight for a salad. One egg. It was great.

Since I've gotten two bad cuts from my current mandoline, I'm looking at replacing it with one that has better safety features. I found one on Amazon yesterday that I really like. It even has a spiralizer attachment! I've gotten interested in spiralizers after reading posts from the users here who love them.

Ruh-Roh!! Five interchangeable razor sharp blades.

Many of us are spiralizer fans (a very different model), and one precaution that can't be over-estimated is how sharp their interchangeable blades are! LOL

I finally ordered a new mandolin food slicer. I went with a different one than I posted in this thread because I like it even better.

I had to replace my induction cooktop because it's been acting weird and this morning kept cutting on and off. I planned to replace it with an infrared cooktop when it went out so I ordered one this morning. That's why I decided to go ahead and throw in the mandoline, too.

It will be 5-8 shipping days so I won't get them until next week but I'm very excited!

Pikachu, let me know how you like the mandolin - I need a new one too. Mine broke.
