I always make 3 double crusts at a time (it's 1 lb of lard or crisco) and roll each into a ball, making 6 balls. I wrap them tightly in saran, and then put in a big ziploc. I thaw them and roll them out when I need them and they always taste great.

I miss garlic potato chips. Do they even exist anymore?

I don't remember who posted the Chicken Pot Pie recipe awhile back, (and I'm too lazy today to look ), but I finally tried it last weekend with my left over turkey and I have to say that it was a HUGE hit at my house. In fact, I've already had requests to make it again. It was very simple to make and sooo good.

I baked a birthday cake for my granddaughter last weekend and for once it turned out good. I'm usually a really good baker, EXCEPT when I'm making something for a special occasion, like a birthday. Then it seems like something always goes wrong. Not this time though. Must be because I had so much good help this time.

Lil Bit the cake turned out so well because of that adorable helper. Love the photo with the chocolate batter all around her mouth.

Those pictures remind me so much of when I was little. I always begged for a beater to lick after my babysitter was finished mixing the batter!
    Yup, with donuts!!
