The new Newtons Fruit Thins are good too. A cross between a cookie and cracker. I bought the Cranberry Citrus Oat, one of 4 flavors. It is good plain or would be good as a base for an appetizer.
That is what it is I was to lazy to get up and look and see what the package said. I can't stay out of the dish I made. Yummo

I bought the Santa Fe flavored Philadelphia Cooking Cream and made the chicken enchilada recipe on the back of the package. They were pretty good. Hubby wasn't crazy about them because he like enchiladas that are smothered in that red sauce. These were not like that at all.

    that all sounds yummy!

If I could find some sugar free marshmellow I would invent a new dessert.

The special K cereal with the chocolate bits? Very good stuff! I would melt the marshmellows and mix in that cereal. oh yes I would..

Awesome! But, on a happy note, you'll still have something about which to complain: you'll find something you love, and then it'll be discontinued (either due to lack of popularity, or because the supplier will no longer cut them a deal, or the item is a limited buyout, etc.).

I agree that using beer makes the lightest, crispiest hush puppies!

    *1 cup self-rising cornmeal mix
    *1/2 cup self-rising flour
    *1 tablespoon sugar
    *1 large egg
    *1/2 cup beer
    *1/2 cup diced onion
*1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
    *1 jalapeņo pepper, chopped
    *Vegetable oil

Combine cornmeal mix, flour, and sugar in a bowl and make a "well" in the mixture.

In a separate bowl mix the egg, beer, onion, green pepper, and jalapeno - stirring well.

Add the wet to the dry ingredients and stir only till moistened.

Heat 3" of oil in a dutch oven or heavy saucepan to 375 degrees (or until a drop of water "spits back," as Mom used to say).

Drop batter by rounded tablespoons, and fry your batches 2 minutes per side (or till golden brown).

Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.

Are all Trader Joe's stores just a couple of blocks away from Whole Foods?

Nope. Our WF is nowhere near a TJ's.
