Man, we should petition Jif. I also knew several others that liked it too.

And while I like Nutella, it isn't the same thing. That chocolate Jif was amazing!

Peanut Butter & Co. makes chocolate peanut butter... it's a little on the pricey side though.

That sounds yummy. Have you tried Apple Pie ice cream? Of course it has to have the apple chunks and crust.

Is that Pumpkin Pie ice cream made by Edy's? They had a Peach Pie ice cream during the summer, soooo good! I could easily gain 100 pounds eating that stuff!

Trader Joe's has the best pumpkin ice cream -- I think it's the Double Rainbow brand from San Francisco. It's my favorite -- especially drizzled with heated Trader Joe pumpkin butter.

    Re: General Food Talk

    Help,

I need quick easy meals for the next few days. We cannot live on Frozen food and pizza delivery while we move.

I would love some easy crockpot recipes. As I can "fix it and forget about it".

And maybe a few that would serve quite a lot of hungry men that are helping us move

    Thanks guys.

    Re: General Food Talk

My favorite crockpot recipe is the old standby of beans and hamhocks. I use pinto beans, 2 or 3 hamhocks and a packet of onion soup mix. Cover the beans in water and let it cook on low all day.

I am making it this weeked. It is getting below freezing for the first time this season so it seemed the right thing to make.

    Re: General Food Talk

Thanks Dag, that's a good idea as I have hamhocks in the freezer and some dried beans. But I think I'll wait until after Sun. to make it. I have to feed the guys helping us move today and tomorrow and I'm not exactly sure I want to be in the company of several grown men who have just eaten a bunch of beans.
