| Re: General Food Talk I was at the grocery store today and noticed that last carton of B&J's Key Lime pie flavor that I just couldn't reach last time was mixed in with another flavor and the new flavor of the month is pumpkin cheesecake. I took the Key Lime. I may have to go on a grocery search to see if any nearby towns have any left. Would that be obsessive? ![]()

| Re: General Food Talk A few days ago I made up some hummus, but after a couple of lunches decided that I wasn't really is a hummus on a pita mood. So I pureed the remains of the hummus with some vegetable stock, added some really hot jalapenos and chopped spinach and made a hummus soup. Really, really delicious with a dollop of yogurt on top.

| Re: General Food Talk I went to 2 out of town grocery stores yesterday that I was driving by anyway and neither had the key lime pie B&J ice cream. Then driving home, I passed a convenience store in my town that I remembered as being well-stocked in B&J, but it's not a store I ever go to. I swung into the parking lot on a whim and lo and behold... they were fully stocked! At least 12 cartons along with at least a dozen other flavors - some I've never heard of. I bought 3 Key Lime Pie, but now I'm itching to go back and get more knowing that once they're gone, they're gone!!! I do get compulsive streaks now and again (anything argyle this fall), so I don't know whether to give in or let it go. It's not like I'd eat them all at once. I have room in my freezer to stockpile them... ...justifying?

| Re: General Food Talk I have learned, the hard way, to never pass up something that I think I really want, hoping that it will be there later. The only justification has to be that YOU WANT IT! ![]() I get sick of missing out on things for no good reason! We only go around once!

| Re: General Food Talk I agree with mrd and shay, you don't need any justification except that you like it and there is a limited supply. |

I suppose I make exceptions when it enables my chocolate habit. On a random tangent, I think M&Ms should come in a Thanksgiving colors package: red, orange, yellow and brown, fall colors. They would look so festive! | |
