    Re: General Food Talk

Someone else is now making dessert, so, I don't have to worry about it now. But thanks for the suggestions.
    I'm making cornbread salad.

So now I'm thinking about peach cobbler (thanks inthegarden) or that chocolate pudding cake stuff. You pour hot water over the cake ingredients and it makes a saucy cake type of dessert.

I've never heard of that pudding cake. You must post the recipe.

I can't wait for peaches to start coming in. I love peach cobbler.

I could buy a heck of a lot of ice cream a month for those prices. Heck, I could even splurge and buy Ben and Jerry's ice cream, instead of Publix's store brand.

I love Peach Cobbler and the Chocolate Pudding Cake, I froze Peaches last summer so we could have cobblers over the winter.

    Mrd I'll post the recipes.

I have a fabulous peach cobbler recipe where you soak the peaches in Contreau. It is so good that I developed a drink from it that is like a cross between a peach bellini and sangria.

Do share please. Peaches are my favorite fruit. I just had a peach shake from Z'Kota for lunch as a matter of fact! Mmm...

I don't know what those things are. But since sangria involves wine, I'm afraid I'd have to take only a tiny, tiny taste to start with. I'm not smart enough to know how to like wine.
