| Re: Just Recipes It's squirtable chocolate that hardens. So it comes out in liquid form and then turns into a chocolate coating. As a kid, I loved it on ice cream. Of course, only our grandparents bought it for us.

| Re: Just Recipes Canuck, I was wondering what the hell "magic shell" was too. I think we can buy it up here but it's called something else. My husband and the kids are always buying stuff to put on ice cream and they once had a syrup that hardened right away when you poured it on.

| Re: Just Recipes Thanks. I thought maybe it was some sort of spray on pie shell , but that makes a lot more sense. Yeah, I think we have something like that. | |

| Re: Just Recipes We do have some in the cold tundra that is Canada and I do think it's called Magic Shell. I am (not) embarrassed to say I have bought some in the past. | |

| Re: Just Recipes Mac and Cheese 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1/2 cup flour 1 cups milk 2-3 cups shredded cheddar 3/4 lb. macaroni uncooked seasoned bread crumbs Melt butter or margarine in medium sauce pan, add flour and stir until blended. Add milk and heat over medium high heat stirring constantly until slightly thickened. Add cheddar cheese in small increments stirring until melted. I add enough cheese until I get a good aroma, roughly 2 cups. Stir cheese sauce into cooked macaroni and put into pan for baking. I like to use a deeper pan personally. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and seasoned bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for 25 min. | |

| Re: Just Recipes Lasagna Don't really have exact measurements for this but I basically make my own sauce. First I brown 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef and season with garlic powder. Then I add 2 big cans, not the tall cans but the short fat cans of tomato sauce and italian seasoning to taste. I let simmer for about an hour. I boil my noodles and layer noodles, ricotta cheese, meat sauce and mozzarella. I do about 3 layers and top with mozzarella. Bake at 350 for about an hour. | |

| Re: Just Recipes No...I should have used "the google". I will definitely try that giant cream puff. I have only made (once) the ones that you have to boil in water or something. Very fiddly. | |
