I just put it all in together. I think I actually added the water and cornstarch last having mixed those two together. I wanted it to be complete when I got home from church and that seemed the easiest way. Couldn't tell that it should have been done differently.

For those type of recipes I usually mix the cornstarch with a bit of water and add it in the last half hour. If it doesn't thicken up enough after 15 minutes or so, I mix up a bit more and add it in. Sometimes there ends up being more liquid so the cornstarch has to be adjusted. I guess you could add it all at the beginning, but if you weren't around it might get a big thick and need water

Fun, yummy recipe for Brunette Trixie's tailgating party!

    Sausage Balls
    2 cups Bisquick
2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
    1 lb. ground sausage

Mix together and form into small balls.
Place on cookie sheet (sprayed with Pam) and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until brown.

Hints - I usually add a spoonful of water to the mixture. That makes it stickier and also easier to make the little balls. I also make these and freeze them raw - very easy to grab a few out of the freezer and bake them when in need of a quick appetizer or snack. They can go from freezer to oven with no defrosting. Enjoy!

Those are good Doxie. They're a tradition in my family at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Doxie, I'm pretty sure that's my sausage ball recipe too.

I was out the other night and we had Coconut Mojitos, and they were delicious. We asked the waitress for the recipe and here it is. Perfect for a hot day, a cold day, anytime.

Coconut Mojito Recipe, Courtesy of Republic

    1 1/4 oz Malibu Rum
    3/4 oz Bacardi Limon
    1/2 oz Simple Syrup
    1/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
    Fresh Mint to taste
Serve with Sugar Cane Swizzle Stick

**The sugar cane stick is very important. They are fun to chew on while enjoying your drink.

Probably so! It's the only recipe for sausage balls that I have ever seen. It is in almost every cookbook that I have and it used to be printed on Bisquick boxes.

Those sausage balls are the first thing to go at any party I've attended or thrown where they are served.
They are a great and easy recipe.
