Cristal looked so much better without the excessive blue eyeshadow, she really doesn't need a whole lot of makeup to look good. At first, I didn't find her that attractive, but she's growing on me.
I also felt bad for her, but I did not like the way she approached Monique and blamed it all on Toastee/Buckwild. She was clearly behind the plan too and if anything, she should've just clarified that she wasn't trying to be manipulative or use Darra as a joke. Glad she stayed over Toastee though.

This show is unabashedly all about ratings and drama. There is no pretense the winner will be the most refined girl. Actually, it's quite the opposite.
In retrospect, obviously she should've been the model on the last episode but I totally understand why she shyed away from it since she was already critisized from being the role as "the model" or beautiful girl and nothing else so obviously she was gonna want to show them another side to her or that she didnt have to be the center of attention. What do the judges want? They send way too many mixed messages.

and caramelbeauty, i agree (again! lol) the judges are not making any sense, they keep sending mix messages completely. Like Dat shouldnt have been the model but it seemed like they didnt have to tear her apart so harshly...they seem like theyre only goal is break-down and tear apart every girl who seems fairly decent/good-hearted. i like Serious although i didnt like what she did when she went to monique but i still think the judges are making the girls go after each other and be more messy because they have no idea how to really win this competition. After krazy's unfair elimination i think it caused others to go down the same path as hottie (the ultimate evil bitch)...she always seems to come out on top and she is the worst of the bunch! i dont like monique anyway, i never really did, like someone said earlier in here she hates skinny women and all her jokes on stand-up are based on weight issues. That doesnt make her a good comedy! Thats just like Gin the rapper (ya know the Asian guy who won on BET's "freestyle friday" if any of you watch that?) and was signed to Ruff Ryders at some point (i luv rap so i know all about it). All his freestyles were good only because he stayed talking about the Asian topic, all his punchlines were involved with his race, thats why they were good...but if you were to take the Asian of out him, there would be nothing left to judge but his actual "talent" that he obviously lacks...listen to his music, it really, really sucks! So i dont give props for that type of crap, i think monique is jealous, even my dad watched the show (and believe me he hates reality shows and all that drama-filled stuff) but even he watched the episode of krazy's elimination and on, and he was like "monique is just jealous"...its obvious if even my 50-year old dad can see it! (And believe me hes not being bias, he has no hate or love for any of these people on the show, he just called it how he saw it!)
I couldn't understand the elimination either. I would have eliminated one of the panel instead of the person sitting out. Cristal stated that she felt like should have been on the panel twice. What could she have done differently if they all agreed that she was going to sit out. It seems like Cristal was going to be sent home no matter what she did. You guys are right about the modeling, they told her to show another side and then talk about how disappointed they were in her b/c she wasn't the model.
On Sunday's challenge, she didn't graceously support her team even though they benched her, she whined, complained and in the middle of the depate, complained to the judges. She basically set herself up to be there when she made clear she would not head up the team citing that she was already in the bottom three twice. She didn't learn or even care why, so she made the same milstakes that got her there before.
It's not like her team mates didn't tell her why she was benched, They felt as I that she would not make a good point but would turn the focus on her as she had done in the past.
Actually, they wanted her to show her modelling side only when appropriate. They had a problem with her this time as the fashion show was indeed the appropriate time and she didn't step up. She made it clear that she wasn't going to be the model for the group and was only going to do makeup.
However, she designed the gown, made the gown, forced Darra into the gown and stated that she would stand by the gown design even when she heard her opposition laughing about what a mess it was. She didn't use her modelling expertise to change the gown or even stop the "Designers" from adding inappropriate additions such as the feathers. Yet she lied about her involvement in the making/designing of the gown for Darra, claiming it was Becky and Jennifer (who did nothing).
When most felt she should have gone home last week, the judges eliminated Jennifer for not stepping up or in fact, doing anything to help the group win. In this case, her insistance on not heading up the team or stepping up to demand that she participate was her undoing. And I feel the group did make the better choice in benching her.
They were eloquent and a stated their point as best they could. I feel they lost because the simply didn't expand on their point and that Saaphyri broke the rules thus disqualified her team. She was not sent home because she was doing her best for the team while Crystal was thowing them under bus as they were debating the other team.

I watched the previous episodes and in each one, she made sure she was not the leader, each time citing that the leader gets expelled and then complain that she could have done better as a leader (see the obsticle course episode). She talks but never delivers. That's why Mo'Nique and the judges were so harsh on her
Monique = A Jealously Idiotic Woman With The Ability To Act As Though She Makes Sense, When In Reality, She Just Uses Minor BS To Her Advantage Over Women Prettier But More Clueless Than Herself...Or At Least With The Disadvantage As Being "The Boss"/"Already-Made-Star"/"A Full Out Entertainer With Her Eye On Her Prize, Power In Her Hands , And The Money Already In Her Pocket...whether or not she judges fair or in at least obtaining to what she CLAIMS shes asking for"...so dont sweat it!
Dont feel bad girls to who were eliminated off the show unfairly, its just a stupid reality show with a bad comedian who needs airplay to help her dying career as your "therapist"/"consuelor"/"mentor" without a license to even know what the hell shes really doing...so your results arent suppose to be real, so keep ya head up!
Monique...hows THAT for charm?
