Skinny girls

Hello everyone, I'm new and this is my first post!

Why is it that every girl on that show is skinny and in shape. Don't any normal ladies go on there that aren't as thin? Just wondering . . . it's a bit depressing!:rolleyes:

I guess it's because many challenges in the show require quite amount of physical strength to accomplish, and participants are competing against each others; therefore, girls with normal body may think that they have less of advantage in competing with girls who are in shape and work out everyday, or they do apply for the show but got turned down by the interviewers. I watch the show almost every week, but I do see girls with normal body size ( maybe my definition of "normal' is different from yours ).
By the way, have you ever seen overweight men on the show? Never.

True, true, I haven't seen any overweight guys on there either. You are probably right about the physical part of it, but some people are just as physically strong while being overweight. Oh well, just my opinion.

I for sure would not be able to make it on this show. Once they introduced a water challenge, I would say no way! One of my worst fears is drowning. . .
