I think you hit the proverbial nail on the head there. I just watched the episode today (too busy all week cooking turkeys and stuff ) and I saw a change in Cesar, even in his manner while they were shopping for fabric. The lace they chose was inappropriate for their goal. I heard Cesar ask for the cheapest chantilly lace they had and boy, did it look cheap. I have always associated chantilly with brides, not man-eaters.

Later, when Cesar was happily flitting madly around the workroom, helping both teams with this benevolent god-like personna, I remember thinking to myself that The Ego Has Landed!! I suppose it's easy to do as such high praise from Issac and Iman would surely go to one's head.

Iman presenting herself as a strident dominatrix does not work, for me anyway. What is up with that?

Granted this show is better than last season but that is faint praise. She is acting like a cartoon character! I don't like her one little bit and one would think that the host of a show should be compelling in some way. This is a real head scratcher for me.

I feel the same way. I've seen her in interviews before and don't remember her being this way. It's very strange IMO, and I wish she's quit acting that way. If it's not an act she needs to change that too!

Glad to see Tamra (Tameya?) cut.
She didn't seem to add much at all.
I still am not liking Calvin.
I like Eduardo, but it did seem, to me, like I saw that design before.

Iman always seemed to have that over the top personality, IMO.
I just really like the counterpoint between Iman and Isaac and I find the hour goes by very quickly.
