Uncle Michael

Age: 46
Occupation: Sales Manager
Hometown: Manalapan, NJ

The ultimate patriarch, Uncle Mike is the leader of the family. Suave and in-control, Uncle Michael sees himself as the dominant player in this game and has never met a challenge he couldn't overcome. While all the young men of the family respect him, they are also out to get him.

successful salemen have real people skills, and most will use those skills on everyone (including the staff) not just potential clients, so I can see him doing well at this game. Make people WANT to do things for you by being charming, not ordering them around. That could be a successful strategy.

He's my second choice to win, after outsider Mike with the shaved head.

As long as he pulls that stratagy with the staff you are right LG

I was expecting someone older to be the "ultimate" patriarch though

I don't like this guy--looks oily...

He probably will be so focused on smooth talking the family, that he will show his true colors with the staff.

I can see Uncle Michael parlaying his gig on "The Family" into a TV gig. He's got "Soprano" written all over him.

fluff, I am glad that I am not the only one. He is a terror! I hope more than anything that he does not win a thing. I do not even want him to win a game gift. That family does not respect him. They are just afraid that they are going to lose their hearing from him smacking them upside the head. From the volume of the family discussions everyone has been smacked.

He reminds me of Carl Bilancione (sp) from Survivor Africa.

I think you've hit the nail on the head Feif.
Fear doesn't equal respect.
This won't be much of a show if everyone is too scared to cross him and his wife.

well Cousin Mike wasn't, as he took out Uncle Michael in the very first round of the first challenge, and got the evil eye from practically everyone else in the family in the process.

once again I say "GO MIKE!"
