Shannon does have the fire and chasima to spare

I think Shannon seems nice enough, I obviously don't know her though.
I think she has a nice voice, but didn't really like her song choice.
I thought she got the chance to shine more in the group performance and seemed to be an excellent dancer too.
I'm sure she'll do well and hope the "Britney" connection won't harm her when it comes time for the public to start voting.
The first week, her dance seemed so risque, but after seeing the other choreography for the girls, it was actually one of the tamer dances...
This gal stepped up and seriously knocked one out of the park tonight... count me among the impressed.
Oh my god... I am being infected by Jo-Jo-isms...
I couldn't really see why she was picked as a finalist, as she didn't impress me much the first time out.
She upgraded my impression of her with Proud Mary. I think Tina would have been impressed for sure, and I'm not sure how many other performers could pull that song off.
Well done indeed!

Yep, I agree Originally posted by AnnaRHR The first week, her dance seemed so risque, but after seeing the other choreography for the girls, it was actually one of the tamer dances...
I think she did well last night, better than the first time I saw her.
I liked Shannon's performance (and I have been resisting the urge to like her-she looks too much like Brittney Spears for me). But I thought of the caucasian girls in the finals, she is definitely the strongest vocally.
And although she did a great job with Proud Mary, I kept thinking that she's just doing a Tina Turner impersonation. I just wish she had done more originial choreography instead of Tina's choreography.
I definitely thought she did a Tina Turner impersonation, vocally and in the dance moves. Consequently, I'm not sure what Shannon's real singing voice is like. So...I wasn't that impressed, but the judges sure were.
In the semi-finals, I could tell she could sing and although I had her fourth after MacKenzie, I wasn't that upset that she moved on. I think her dancing and choreography distracted people from her vocal ability. However, she really picked a song that really accentuated her singing and dancing ability. I must say that I was very impressed by her last night and while it was a little too much like copying Tina, it still showcased her ability and I think she could easily use that ability in a more original song...
You are correct so I agree and do not have to say anything else.
Have a great day.
